Controller

Improven B.V. and Improven Search and Interim B.V. (hereinafter Improven/we/our/our) is the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter AVG).

In which cases do we collect personal data?

A personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable person. We collect your personal data in the following cases;

-During your visit to our website;

-When you leave your details on our website (e.g. via a contact form or e-mail);

-When you fill in or leave your details (e.g. through your business card) at our office;

-When applying for a position whether for Improven clients or not;

-In the context of a business relationship with Improven;

-When you otherwise register or are registered to use our activities and/or services.

What personal data do we process?

Depending on the purpose for which personal data is collected, we use the following personal data.

As a website visitor we will keep the following data from you;

-Data concerning the device you use to visit our website, e.g. IP address;

-Strictly necessary and voluntarily consented data collected on the basis of cookies and similar;

-Data voluntarily entered or left via our website (e.g. via the contact form)

As a jobseeker or self-employed person we will keep the following data from you;

-Personal details and other information as provided in the CV (information about education, internships and work experience, etc.);-All data you share with Improven yourself through a cover letter, CV or otherwise;-Pass photo (if attached to the CV);

-Other information that is or may be relevant in the context of the assessment of suitability (such as references and certificates).

As a business relationship we may process personal data of data subjects working for companies/organisations we do business with. This may include the following data;

-Business contact details (name and address details, e-mail address, phone number);

-You may also provide us with personal data if you attend or have attended a meeting or event, which also takes into account certain preferences (e.g. dietary requirements at Roundtable sessions and/or master classes).

Bases and purposes personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes;

-For the preparation, conclusion, execution and termination of agreements with clients on behalf of employees and self-employed persons;

-For job application activities of job seekers, employees and self-employed persons. Including the mediation to a job offer or an assignment. As well as the preparation, realisation, execution and termination of any employment contract, traineeship agreement or contract of assignment with Improven or for one of its clients within the framework of mediation.

-To handle personnel and payroll administration;

-To comply with laws and regulations (e.g. in corporate security, fraud prevention, etc.);

-For communication purposes where we can inform you about our services and activities.

In addition, we may also use your personal data to send you information about our products and services that you have requested from us by signing up for our newsletter. We will therefore only process your data in this case if you have given your consent. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, which can be done via a dedicated link in the newsletter or by emailing us at info@improven.nl.

As a business relation of Improven, we may also contact you with regard to our own similar products or services which we believe may be of interest to you. Principles of processing

Retention period

We will retain your personal data no longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this privacy statement for which the personal data was obtained. Personal data are deleted depending on the category of personal data and Improven's legal obligations. Furthermore, we delete application data no later than four weeks after the application procedure. If you have given us permission to do so, we will retain this data for a longer period of up to one year. You can of course withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to recruitment@improven.nl. For Improven's job placement clients, please send the email to search&interim@improven.nl.

Categories of recipients

We may disclose your personal data to third parties such as our clients, our suppliers and subcontractors providing services or performing assignments on our behalf, government agencies and other business relations. We provide your data in cases where we are required to do so, for example by a court order or court judgment. Insofar as these third parties process your data on Improven's behalf, they do so as processors. We have concluded a so-called processor's agreement with those third parties, regulating, among other things, security, confidentiality and your rights. If the nature of the assignment so requires, we may share the self-employed entrepreneur's personal data with the client based outside the Netherlands and/or outside the European Union. Improven has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected.

Security of your data

We make every effort to secure your personal data against unauthorised use. We have implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unlawful use or alteration of information we receive on our website. When we transfer or receive your data on our website, we always use the encryption technologies recognised as common standards within the IT sector. Due to SSL technology, when transmitting your personal data, all data entered by you are automatically encrypted. We use your data only for the purpose for which we receive it. Therefore, only those colleagues who need the data to perform their tasks are granted access to this data. Moreover, any employee working on an assignment will keep the data he or she receives confidential. Furthermore, we have established a procedure for reporting data breaches.

Your rights
