IMPROVEN selected to provide financial advisory services to government

IMPROVEN may call itself 'preferred supplier' in the field of financial advisory services for the ministries and subordinate departments for the next four years.

Recently, the central government ministries joined forces with the procurement department to further scrutinise the way they procure financial advisory services. The result is a second government-wide Framework Agreement for the procurement of financial expertise (other than audit services) and results-based financial studies.

IMPROVEN successfully distinguished itself during the pitch process and is a newcomer to the list.

"Incredibly TROTS we are that IMPROVEN may support the government as preferred supplier for the next four years following final award of the Government-wide Tender for Financial Advisory Services. Both for hired financial advice and research and grant support, our added value is recognised and appreciated. A wonderful recognition for our inspired team."

Jan Bosman | Managing Partner

As expected, interest in the successor to the first government-wide framework agreement was very high - many parties registered for the restricted tender procedure. After selection, the competing agencies' proposals were compared and, based on various criteria (including quality, price, track record, experience within the central government), the tender team selected IMPROVEN, among others, for two lots. Lot 3 focuses on the hiring of temporary financial expertise in grant support while Lot 5 is based on results-based agreements.

All ministries and their subordinate departments and agencies have committed to the framework agreement (with some minor exceptions). The Police, the COA, State Forestry Administration, ProRail, the Judiciary, the Chance Game Authority and the Lower House of the States-General - new compared to the previous master agreement - also intend to use the framework agreement. The framework agreements have a term of two years, with an option to extend twice for one year.
