Do you want to contribute to socially relevant research? Then come and join our enthusiastic Finance & Control team!
About the organisation
Internationally leading and innovative research takes place at the Faculty of Science. Our scientists push boundaries and explore new perspectives. As project controller, you are a key link in pioneering research initiatives that shape the world of tomorrow.
What will you do?
In science, project funding is about the smart and careful use of resources to enable new research. Research projects are often co-funded by grants from, for example, governments, the EU or foundations.
As project controller, you make sure every euro is well spent, so scientists can focus on what really matters: making discoveries.
Together with the other project controllers, you will form a close-knit team that is actively involved in the entire project financing process from start to finish. You prepare project budgets in accordance with the guidelines of the various grant providers. After granting the funds, you continuously monitor the realisation of budgets, keeping the status and risks of the projects transparent and manageable.
You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and sharing this information with the project leaders. Your contribution enables our scientists to concentrate fully on their research, while you keep the financial side of their projects smoothly on track.
