There is a veritable innovation tsunami in healthcare. Technological, social and process changes, improvements & innovations are tumbling over each other. Bringing an innovation project to fruition is not easy. Starting is still relatively easy. But then?
IMPROVE INNOVATION, IMPROVE CARE
Colleagues Richard van de Lee and Susan van Silfhout give 4 mini-workshops Lego Serious Play at the annual conference Project Management in Healthcare with the theme Innovation through Play.
As a project professional, you face ongoing challenges. Consider, for example, forming the right project team, identifying project risks and setting appropriate project objectives. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® was developed to come up with solutions to such issues. This is a facilitated form of 'serious gaming', combining design thinking and storytelling in a playful way. The strength of this method is that all participants, regardless of their role in the healthcare process, are able to contribute knowledge, insights and opinions during workshops using the LEGO bricks. During these workshops, participants get to work on answering the question: What are the key elements for successful project management in healthcare?
Also nice - IMPROVEN - colleagues Maarten van Weeghel, Anneloes Groen, Frank van den Bos and Jan Kamp are also present.
Special thanks go to John van Rouwendaal of Foundation for Project Management in Care, Rowi Rakels of CKC Seminars and all other 'organisers'
