With more than 800,000 inhabitants, Amsterdam is the largest municipality in the Netherlands. For all the tasks Amsterdam is responsible for, it purchases a wide variety of services, products and
working in. To carry out its tasks, the municipality consists of Administration and Organisation, four functional clusters and seven city districts. Together, they make up the Amsterdam municipality.
By entering into framework agreements with a limited number of parties, the municipality of Amsterdam aims to guarantee high-quality capacity in an increasingly scarce labour market for financial personnel. In addition, hiring can be done faster, because the call for tenders is issued directly to the pre-selected parties via a so-called 'mini competition'.
