The promise of e-invoicing is great. It is much more efficient than the current process, provides insights into procurement spending and liquidity, enables new forms of working capital financing and also saves money in the form of cost savings and payment discounts. However, practice shows that electronic invoicing is nowhere near as well established as desired. During the conference, we will look at the current state of affairs. Where are companies now? Where do opportunities lie? And what obstacles do they still have to overcome to cash in on the opportunities that are there?
Our consultants Matthieu Hoogerwerf and Stijn Hubregtse will both be present as speakers at the conference.
The importance of Data Quality for financial processes
Steering information is an important tool in financial management. This information comes from the data present in your organisation and generated by different systems and individuals. What is the importance of qualitative data for optimising financial processes, such as the P2P process? And what are the consequences when there is no qualitative data? During this session, you will get answers in these and other questions around the topic of data quality. It will also address how to keep your qualitative data in order, for example through KPIs.
As a former Product Owner Business Intelligence, Matthieu has extensive experience in how an organisation can best deal with data: from managing the quality of the data and the relevant sources and relevant legislation to translating data into KPIs and automating the associated processes
Stijn has undertaken several assignments related to Master Data Management and Data Quality. He has been involved in setting up a Master Data Team at a large retailer and is currently working at a bank to improve HR data. In addition, last year he was responsible as project manager for getting the declaration for a youth welfare institution back in order, which had a high rejection rate due to bad/wrong data.
