At IMPROVEN, we believe that starting consultants can make the difference in complex and impactful projects. Hella is one of our Young Improven Finance consultants, and her first assignment is a great example of this!
Together with two experienced colleagues, she worked on a future plan for a public-private organisation in Amsterdam to merge the ‘Business Control’ and ‘Finance & Control’ departments. The aim was to align everyone and set a clear direction. To do this, she researched where the department currently stood and where it wanted to go. Based on this, she created a roadmap of improvement actions to achieve that objective. But to do that properly, she first needed to understand how the current work process was going.
Therefore, Hella undertook the following activities:
- Interviews with the departments using the services of Business Control and Finance & Control
- Workshops In which Hella and her colleagues looked at new technology and process opportunities
