What do you do as a CONSULTANT FINANCE & CONTROL at IMPROVEN?
As a Finance & Control Consultant, you are the driving force behind financial insight and improvement at our clients. You will help organisations analyse financial data, optimise processes and strengthen control.
You work on a variety of issues and translate analyses into concrete improvement actions. You combine thinking and doing: from mapping processes to implementing improvements in practice. You will advise on topics such as financial control, reporting and performance management and assist in making well-founded decisions. You ensure that figures not only provide insight, but are also actually used. Furthermore, you work closely together with controllers, business stakeholders and data specialists. Your strength lies in analysing, structuring and clearly conveying insights.
With your practical and analytical view, you will help organisations take steps towards greater grip, better performance and sustainable improvement.
Some of your duties
- Optimising financial processes, such as P2P and R2R, to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Carrying out cost and impact analyses, for example within public or social issues
- Analysing price and efficiency differences to create insight into cost structures and improvement potential
- Improve reporting and performance management, including developing dashboards and KPI frameworks
- Performing (forensic) analyses and audits on financial processes and legality
- Advising stakeholders and acting as a sparring partner for management and board of directors
- Translating complex financial issues into concrete, implementable solutions
- Contribute to knowledge development and propositions within IMPROVEN
This is where you recognise yourself?
- You are driven, keenly analytical and eager to go the extra mile to make a real impact
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience within finance, consultancy or project management
- You have an affinity for tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, SAP or other ERP systems
- You understand how finance, business and governance come together and reinforce each other
- You have strong communicative skills and the ability to switch between strategy and operations.
- You are curious, inquisitive and have a drive to want to please yourself and others develop.
- You take ownership and supervise assignments from A to Z, from analysis to implementation
- You enjoy working within a consultancy environment combining client assignments with building IMPROVEN
- You have a clear drive to contribute to socially relevant issuesJ
