About IMC Weekend School
Since 1998, IMC Weekend School has been inspiring young people aged 10 to 14 in neighbourhoods where extra opportunities are most needed. Our motto: “Learn now what comes later.” We let children dream, discover and grow by introducing them to a wide variety of subjects – from law and medicine to art and entrepreneurship. Thanks to our enthusiastic guest lecturers, they gain a view of the world that broadens their horizons and boosts their self-confidence!
With our unique educational concept, Future Expedition, we reach thousands of pupils every year through:

The team
In addition to you, the finance team consists of two controllers, a financial analyst, and a payroll administrator. The team is part of the Operations team. You will work together a lot, the atmosphere is informal, the lines of communication are short, and there is plenty of room for your ideas and development.
Your role and impact
As a Finance Administrative Assistant, you are indispensable for reliable financial administration. You ensure that data is processed accurately, completely and on time, and that internal colleagues can rely on clear information.

What will you do?
- Ensuring timely, accurate and complete accounts payable administration; monitoring invoice flow and preparing payments.
- Ensuring timely, accurate and complete accounts receivable administration; invoicing partners and monitoring timely payment (in consultation with fundraising), including reminders.
- Preparing ledger specifications on a monthly basis and analysing discrepancies.
- Periodic reconciliation between the partner administration and the financial administration.
- Reading and processing bank statements.
- Ensuring correct personnel administration in collaboration with the HR adviser and submitting personnel changes to the payroll department.
What are you bringing?
- Vocational education and training (VET) level of working and thinking, with a completed administrative education (e.g. MBA) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant administrative work experience, preferably within a social or charitable organisation.
- Knowledge of AFAS or a similar financial system is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- You are accurate, honest, analytical and have good planning and organisational skills.
- You enjoy working with others.
What do we offer you?
- An annual salary of up to €41,000 gross (full-time, 40 hours).
- Pension scheme: only 2% personal contribution, the rest is paid by IMC Weekend School.
- 25 days of holiday entitlement based on full-time employment.
