To realise and implement change in an increasingly complex environment, organisations need project managers with the right knowledge and experience. Whereas in the past a simple course seemed sufficient to successfully complete a project, we see that increasing complexity and a wider stakeholder field are demanding more and more from project managers.
Realising changes
IMPROVEN helps organisations successfully realise change by deploying experienced and skilled project managers on the complex projects. They are able to set up and manage projects in such a way that the desired results are achieved. IMPROVEN's consultants are experts in different ways of working such as PRINCE2, IPMA and SCRUM and look for an approach that best suits the organisation and the challenge. And the ‘soft side’ of change is also integrally included by our project managers, using our approach to Pragmatic Change Management.
Improven professionals have an exemplary role in your organisation, because good example follows! With their knowledge and skills from different environments, they contribute to improving your project organisation and to the success of your projects, giving you a fit and agile organisation.
Waterfall, agile or hybrid?
Hybrid project management, combining waterfall and agile elements, continues to evolve rapidly in response to the complexity of modern organisations. The latest trend is the shift from a static mix of agile and traditional methodologies to an adaptive hybrid approach, where teams dynamically switch between standards depending on project phase, risk profile and stakeholder needs. IMPROVEN knows better than anyone else how to set up the project organisation, taking into account the wishes of, for example, an agile development team AND the demands of management to have transparency and clarity on the status of change initiatives...
Pragmatic project management
IMPROVEN has its own project methodology, called ‘Pragmatic Project Management’. This hybrid methodology combines the best of the traditional waterfall approach and the agile way of working according to agile. It enables organisations to bring change initiatives to fruition with optimal effort, and is easy to understand and apply, even for people with little or no project management experience. The method can be adapted to your organisation and therefore quickly feel like ‘your own’ for employees.
IMPROVEN organises in-house training courses Pragmatic Project Management, where a lot of customisation is possible. In addition, twice a year training is given at our office for a mixed group of (potential) clients and IMPROVEN employees. More information can be found at our Academy.
Improven has Pragmatic project management already successfully implemented at the following organisations, among others: Grant Thornton International, FNV, Heineken, Perfetti Van Melle, Home Fashion Group (Kwantum), GGZ Pro Persona, Vilans, Public Prosecutor's Office, Aces Direct, Continental Bakeries, Vion Food Group, Huisartsen Eemland, Detailresult Group, ConQuaestor, VolkerWessels, Brocacef, Sint Antonius Hospital, NBA and HEYDAY.
