As a controller at Improven, you will become the financial conscience of our organisation and part of a close-knit team of finance colleagues. For example, Improven has a project administration department, where colleagues deal with the financial administration of consultants working on a project basis for our clients. In addition, our business control team is responsible for preparing financial management reports and, based on thorough analyses, acts as a valuable discussion partner for our managing partner, the partners of all departments, the MT and Quadram Capital (our shareholder).
With your acquired knowledge & experience, you will be able to contribute to Improven's financial policies with your colleagues from Business Control.

Upon joining, you will start with a thorough and comprehensive handover, where you will be given the space to quietly grow into a lead role. As the team expands, you will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role within finance and further develop your leadership skills. You will carry responsibility within the Improven finance department by engaging in impactful tasks & responsibilities to keep Improven as an organisation financially healthy and strong.

Your contribution to our success
- Financial Reporting
- You will be responsible for preparing financial statements of multiple limited companies
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports including KPI analysis
- Monitoring and improving financial dashboards and management information
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations within our industry
- Financial Planning and Control
- Drawing up and monitoring budgets, forecasts and liquidity plans
- Analysing revenue and margin developments within consultancy and mediation processes
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities and advising management
- Process optimisation and internal control
- You give solicited and unsolicited advice to management on improving quality and efficiency in processes and systems.
- Improving and streamlining financial processes, specifically around invoicing and margin monitoring
- Establishing and monitoring internal control measures against financial risks
- Strategy and advice
- You are a reliable sparring partner for our managing partner, partners of the various departments and the Improven MT regarding financial policy and internal control
- Calculating and assessing investment proposals and growth scenarios
- Advising on cost optimisation and profitability of projects
- You think along about opportunities and threats for Improven as an organisation, both in the Netherlands and internationally.
- You will report to the Managing Partner.

Your talents
- You have a completed HBO education in finance. For example, Business Economics, Accounting & Control or equivalent;
- You have about 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Considerable knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Exact and PowerBI is desirable;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
