END-TO-END PROCESS
Description
An End-to-End process provides insight into the process flow from supplier to customer. The process is mapped in outline form.
When
In the Imaging phase, when mapping the current process. In the Image Forming and Securing Results phases.
Goals
The End-to-End process gives you insight into:
- the end customer and supplier of the process,
- those involved (employees and departments) in the process.
Steps
- Drafting SIPOC.
- Define the main steps in the process.
Tips:
- Make the End-to-End process transparent with representation from all those involved in the process. By involving everyone, you get a clear picture of the process, expectations and issues involved.
- After you have determined the objective of your project at the end of the Imaging phase, you can determine the focus and scope of your process, using the end-to-end process as a starting point.
- Maximum six steps.
