INTERIM IFRS EXPERT
Our client, based in the Rotterdam area, is a leading project organisation active in the energy transition. We are currently seeking an interim IFRS expert for this excellent client, to start immediately.
At the client’s organisation, work is carried out in multidisciplinary teams comprising staff from various public and private organisations. The project overlaps with many major infrastructure projects in the field of the energy transition.
What will you do?
The IFRS specialist will deal with the following topics:
- Leases
- Long-term commitments
- Cash-Generating Units/Triggering Events
- Revenue Recognition
- Implementation of IFRS 18
In addition, you will play an active role in preparing the annual accounts for the various entities.
The IFRS specialist will, in collaboration with the Finance Lead, coordinate these files with the client’s internal accountant.
Who are we looking for?

Experience with large listed companies and/or a Big 4 firm

Demonstrable and verifiable experience in the above-mentioned areas
Further information
- The workload for the assignment is estimated at 3 to 4 days a week.
- The duration of the assignment is 3 months, with the option to extend.
- The location is Rotterdam
- Some of the work can be carried out from home.
