Your role

As Director of Tax, you are both strategic leader and the tax figurehead of the Waalwijk office. For SME clients, you are a Trusted Advisor at strategic level and actively contribute to sustainable growth of the practice.

In this role, you will work closely with the other directors within the branches and report directly to the partner. In principle, you will start as Director of Tax, with plenty of scope to make an impact and further develop the tax practice.

This branch characterises itself as a modern and professional office with a close-knit team (± 40 FTE), where SME accountancy, tax and advisory services work closely together. What is the essence of your role:

  • You wear (partly) the final responsibility for the continued growth, quality and operations of the tax practice within the office;
  • You signal commercial opportunities, builds on lasting client relationships and encourages cooperation between taxation and other disciplines within the organisation;
  • You will further position the tax practice as high-quality consulting partner and you are the point of contact both professionally and commercially;
  • You give up inspiring way direction on culture, leadership and team development;
  • Your represents the organisation visible in the market by actively participating in networking events, seminars, publications and relevant meetings;
  • You translate the strategic direction from Moore to concrete objectives and provides a successful realization of this;
  • You have an affinity for digitisation, automation and AI and closely follows relevant market developments to help keep the services and the office future-proof.

What characterises you?

You have ambitions to work at reputable organisation where you want to raise your profile within the SME sector as Director of Tax. In addition, you are an inspiring leader with a strong vision of tax advice and practice development. What do you bring with you:

  • You are a WO graduate in Tax Law/Tax Economics or FB or NOB studies;
  • You have at least 8 years' experience as a tax consultant;
  • You are a member of the NOB;
  • You have demonstrable management experience;
  • You are an expert in both technical and commercial fields;
  • Preferably, you are from the region and have an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to further grow the tax practice;
  • You have an affinity for automation and AI and are up to date with developments within the accounting firm of the future.
