Improven is looking for a Corporate Controller for Royal Sens who is strong on both content and professionalising a growing organisation.
Royal Sens, since 1896, is a leading manufacturer of paper and plastic labels and flexible packaging for the European food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. With production sites in Rotterdam and Enschede and commercial offices in Germany and the UK, Royal Sens supplies millions of labels to major A-brands and private labels every day. In addition, since its acquisition in 2024, Tipografic, with and production site in Liverpool, England, is part of the group.
Royal Sens has and growth ambition. To support the ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Corporate Controller to ensure reliable figures, strong reporting and a streamlined financial organisation. You will work closely with the CFO and be the financial sparring partner for the Finance Managers in several countries.
What will you do?
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports and monitors the quality of the figures;
- Coordinates and organises full budget cycle, prepares rolling forecasts and keeps a grip on cash flow;
- Contributes to tax planning and treasury activities;
- Are sparring partner for local Finance Managers: you review figures, ask critical questions and take data quality to the next level;
- Monitors financial standards: from a uniform Chart of Accounts to correct intercompany reconciliation;
- Initiates process optimisation and automation within the finance department.
What are you bringing?
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Accountancy, Business Economics or Controlling;
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in corporate control, audit or group reporting;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial information clearly and convincingly;
- Excellent communication skills towards Finance Managers, management and external stakeholders;
- Experience with consolidation systems (such as Tagetik) and excellent Excel skills;
- A critical, structured, professional and proactive working style;
- Experience in an SME or manufacturing environment;
- Fluent in English;
- Experience in integrating new participations is an advantage.

- Gross annual salary up to €110,000, (including holiday allowance), depending on knowledge and experience;
