Then read on and discover the story of Young IMPROVEN Consultant Robin van Seumeren, who shares his experience of a special finance assignment.<\/p>\n<h3>A closer look: Robin van Seumeren<\/h3>\n<p>For the past few months, Robin has been working on an assignment at an international producer of packaging materials. His challenge? Designing and implementing a standard accounting chart of accounts (SCOA) for all parts of the organisation. This involved bringing seventeen companies together for accounting purposes for reporting and consolidation.<\/p>\n<p>What Robin appreciated most about the assignment?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #009640;\">It was a clear assignment in which I could really take ownership. I was given responsibility and could quickly switch between the different stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although Robin had no specific background in accounting, he managed to successfully complete this assignment thanks to the Young IMPROVEN Finance Pathway.
